Anahise holds an Associate of Arts degree in English and is at present day a senior at California State University, Northridge, pursuing her bachelor's in English. With a heart set on teaching the beauty, complexity, and chaos of language to future students, she hopes to inspire others to find both clarity and courage through words.

She's a reader first, writer second, and full-time book dragon! Fiercely protective of her shelves and always hunting for stories that linger long after the last page.

When she’s not untangling her own words, she’s annotating someone else’s, sipping something warm, and daydreaming about what makes language stick.
Chapter 21 is her first poetry collection but definitely not her last book.
